This morning is laundry time. Shirley sorted everything yesterday. Off we went to the laundry.
We got back about noon and put most of the clothes up. The shirts had wet collars and were hung in the bath. Next chore after lunch is, oops, we got a water leak. The carpet is wet at the bathroom door. In investigating the source, I could hear water dripping. I opened up the access panel in the bedroom and the shower wall was wet. We took off the shower fixture and put some silicone caulk behind it and put it back in place. The fixture is held in place by two large thumb nuts. The water line from the fixture is threaded all the way and accepts both the bulk head nut and the water compression nut. The problem is it still leaks. I cut a piece of my tool box tray mat and put it between the wall and the bulkhead nut and it still leaked. I then got a hose washer and forced it on the pipe and threaded it a bit. I then tightened the bulkhead nut down and attached the water lines. We stopped for an hour to let the wall dry out. Turned on the water and we have a very slight leak. Enough of a leak that it very slowly runs down the wall. We can make it to a supply store and get a new fixture. I think we have bad threads as this is where it is leaking.
By the end of the day, Shirley had made a trip for food, the tanks were dumped, water tank was filled and we were ready to go Monday. All I had left to do was check the tire pressure
